12th place, It’s an improvement from earlier on in the season when I was dropped by every group ride I did.
The trip down was long…….and Rish’s wonderful smell made the trip even longer. If you have never had the privilege to smell his aroma I pray you never will. After this weekend….i love the smell of a freshly run over skunk. I found something on this website (Flatulence Deodorizers) that I think the Team should purchase for several members on the TEAM ( Rish and Fisher). I have to say it was pretty bad in the car but it got even worse in the hotel. If you can imagine an unbearable stench that you never get away from……it was my cologne for the weekend.
The road race went as expected, the subway boys controlled everything. The hill was a cake walk the first time around but after the first 50 miles the second time around felt like I had a few bricks in my back pockets. I thought to myself who is doing this to me…….and there is Ryan leading the pack up the mountain. The race finished as expected………….a huge group sprint. I almost got caught up in the crash….but safely maneuvered out of it. It didn’t look fun. I heard someone yell out……oh my oh me. It was a great Road Race….I think more people should go next year.
The time trial was HORRIBLE…….what kind of person rides a bike for 110 miles and then returns at 7:00 pm to rides another two miles up hill. INSANE. I figured if I was going to do this I’d spice it up just a little…….so I rode a wheelie for about a 1 mile until it got to steep to bare. It was soo much fun!

PEOPLE in TENNESSE do not know how to ride criteriums. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
